Privacy policy
This policy explains how SIA "Dārza Draugi" handles personal data in the online shop eglites.darzadraugi.lv. The controller is SIA "Dārza Draugi", registration number 40203566571, VAT number LV40203566571, address Upmalas iela 14, Jūrmala, LV-2010, email info@darzadraugi.lv, phone +371 20066833.

1. What we collect
For an order: name, phone number, email address, delivery address, the goods ordered, notes and, if you order on behalf of a company, the company name and registration number.
If you move the delivery point on the map, we also keep its coordinates so that Santa finds the right entrance.
From the contact form: name, phone and your question. The server also records technical information such as the time of the request.
When buying a gift card: the buyer's name, email, phone if given, and the recipient's name and message if written.
If you start an order but do not finish it: your name, phone, email and the contents of your cart from the first step.
2. Why, and on what basis
To fulfil the order: without a name, an address and a phone number the tree cannot be delivered. The basis is performance of the contract.
For accounting and tax: order data is part of the supporting documents. The basis is a legal obligation.
To communicate about the order and your questions: the confirmation, the reminder the day before delivery, the answer to your question. The basis is performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in replying.
Unfinished orders: so we can call or write to you about the tree you chose. The basis is our legitimate interest. If you do not finish the order, we send one reminder email an hour later with a link to your cart; the basis is our legitimate interest, and you can opt out with the link in the email.
3. How long we keep it
Order data is kept for five years after the end of the year in question, as accounting rules require.
Questions from the contact form are kept for one year.
After that the data is deleted.
We keep unfinished orders for 30 days.
4. Who we share it with
We use service providers with servers in the European Union to run the website and the database. Payments are processed by a payment service provider that receives only what the payment requires.
Order notifications go to the shop's staff by email and to Telegram; those notifications contain the order details, including name, phone and address.
When you search for an address at checkout, the text you type is sent to an open map search service to show suggestions, and the map images come from OpenStreetMap. We do not sell data or pass it on for advertising.
5. Cookies
The website has no advertising or analytics cookies and no third party tracking scripts.
We keep in your browser only what the shop needs to work: the contents of the cart, the chosen language and appearance, and whether you have already seen the announcement bar.
The shop's admin area uses a sign-in cookie, which is needed to keep a staff member signed in.
6. Your rights
You have the right to a copy of your data, to correct inaccurate data, to ask for deletion, to object to or restrict processing, and to receive your data in a portable format.
To do any of this, write to info@darzadraugi.lv or call +371 20066833. We answer within a month.
If you believe we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Data State Inspectorate (Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050, dvi.gov.lv).
7. Security and changes
The connection to the website is encrypted, and access to order data is limited to those who need it for their work.
We may add to this policy. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it takes effect at the top.
